The Clarks Desert Boot, now in its 65th anniversary year, and the Desert Trek, a shoe originally launched in the early 1970s, are two of our most enduring Clarks Originals styles, loved the world over. In sync with 6876’s intuitive knack for continually being at the forefront of contemporary design, our iconic styles receive some welcome tweaks, simultaneously upgrading and modernising these iconic shoes for the season.
Founded in 1995 by influential designer Kenneth Mackenzie, 6876 is acclaimed internationally for its functional and modern approach to menswear. Refusing to pander to seasonal trends and industry diktats, 6876 adopts an approach more akin to product design rather than fashion design. Unsurprisingly, the label’s pared-down aesthetic has won legions of die-hard admirers.
This collaboration – a considered exercise in restraint and quality over quantity – is limited to four shoes, one leather and one suede version each of the Desert Boot and the Desert Trek. There will be 600 pairs of each shoe. Expect to find sophisticated colourways, premium materials, respectful co-branding and, of course, the highest standards of craftsmanship all combined in these covetable shoes.
